About
Jodi Leisure is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar, and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Jodi completed her dual J.D./M.B.A. degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1999. She has practiced in the field of personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, and other tort related claims for her entire career, and has achieved tremendous results for clients in these areas. Ms. Leisure was appointed by the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) to join their elite association. ABOTA is an invitation only organization of the finest lawyers and judges in America. This prestigious association fosters improvement in the ethical and technical standards of practice in the field of trial advocacy to ensure more effective representation and efficient administration of justice. Ms. Leisure will continue her profound impact upon the legal field through her involvement with ABOTA. Ms. Leisure teaches at St. Petersburg College’s Paralegal Studies program as an adjunct professor. Having begun her legal career as a Paralegal, she feels that this is a great way to train future legal minds. During Law School, Jodi was an Associate Member of the Stetson Law Review. She received the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award and the West Group Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award. She also served as the supervising judicial intern in the Circuit Court for the Sixth Circuit.
