Daven Cameron

Attorney Daven P. Cameron moved to Las Vegas as a child, making Las Vegas his home for nearly 20 years. After graduating high school in Las Vegas, Daven attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree. Thereafter, Daven attended the William S. Boyd School of Law, graduating at the top of his class. While in law school, Daven served as a judicial intern to The Honorable Richard F. Boulware with the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. Throughout law school, Daven received numerous awards for his written and oral advocacy skills and was a member of the law school’s premiere traveling moot court team. Daven was also selected as a scholarship recipient by the Las Vegas Business Academy, which awards scholarship to an elite group of students identified as Las Vegas’ future leaders. During law school, Daven also gained experience working with the Clark County Public Defender’s Office and traveled overseas to research human rights violations in India. After law school, Daven served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Nancy L. Allf with the Eighth Judicial District Court of Clark County, Nevada. As a judicial law clerk, Daven was exposed to and worked on a broad range of legal matters involving civil and business litigation. Daven got a behind-the-scenes understanding of how the court system operates while learning from the invaluable perspective of a highly respected judge. Following his judicial clerkship, Daven practiced civil litigation at a leading national law firm, representing sophisticated business clients. While there, Daven litigated general civil and business cases, corporate derivative actions, complex construction disputes, anti-SLAPP suits, commercial real estate transactions, and catastrophic personal injury. Daven also received numerous awards for his contribution to pro bono.
