Douglas Scott Cain

Voted Johnson County's #11 out of 13 years, Scott is a general practice attorney with an emphasis on civil litigation, trial and appeals. Scott is recognized by his peers with the highest peer review rating and was selected as one of only a half percent of Texas lawyers to serve as a fellow on the Texas Bar Foundation. His clients include water utility companies, railroads, real estate developers and businesses with a national presence. Scott served as Mayor of Cleburne for 14 years; teaches business law as an adjunct professor at Southwest Aventist University; authored the history book, Cleburne Baseball: A Railroader History; and is often a key note speaker at various events across the state.
