Equally adept in both criminal and civil practice, Mr. Thompson has secured not guilty verdicts in criminal trials and multi-million-dollar awards in complex business disputes. Mr. Thompson’s criminal practice is broad. He represents clients in all components of a criminal investigation and prosecution, including before state and federal grand jury, trials and appeals. Mr. Thompson’s representation includes proceedings collateral to criminal cases, including civil and criminal asset forfeiture proceedings and Registry of Motor Vehicles matters. Mr. Thompson’s criminal work does not fit a type. He has represented persons charged with racketeering, murder, drug trafficking and fraud.
