About
Jon Bruno is an appellate lawyer who has successfully litigated dozens of appeals in state and federal courts. A former Assistant U.S. Attorney, appellate judicial clerk, and legal writing instructor at Harvard, he proudly serves trial attorneys and clients in all aspects of appellate practice, including in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Based in Pittsburgh, Jon earned his JD cum laude and his PhD from Harvard. He clerked for Judge D. Michael Fisher at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Before entering full-time law practice, Jon taught at Harvard and the University of Michigan Law School. Beyond appellate practice, Jon offers consulting services to trial lawyers facing dispositive motions, post-trial motions, and other challenges. Jon is also an experienced civil litigator who is adept at handling tort claims, contract and insurance disputes, and related matters.
