R. Blake Brunkenhoefer is a nationally recognized trial lawyer with decades of experience representing clients in personal injury and maritime law. Licensed in Texas, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico—and admitted before all U.S. District Courts in those states as well as the United States Supreme Court—he has also been admitted pro hac vice in courts across the country. Blake is known for combining compassionate, personalized service with aggressive advocacy against negligent parties, corporations, and insurers. Throughout his career, Blake has earned widespread recognition for his legal achievements and ethical standards. He has been selected to Texas Super Lawyers for eight consecutive years, holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and is a member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He has also been inducted into the Texas Verdicts Hall of Fame and received multiple Litigator Awards for excellence in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Blake is an active leader in the legal community. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), where he served as President of the Corpus Christi Chapter in 2021, and he has held leadership roles with the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. His professional affiliations also include the Maritime Law Association of the United States, the National Trial Lawyers, and the Texas Center for Legal Ethics & Professionalism.
