About
I opened my own law practice in 1996, focusing on assisting clients with their bankruptcy and business needs. Over the past 27 years, I have dedicated my practice to helping individuals and businesses navigate the challenging process of bankruptcy and reorganization. I work closely with my clients to explore all available options before guiding them through the complexities of filing for protection under federal bankruptcy laws. Throughout my career, I have represented numerous individuals and businesses facing economic uncertainties, advocating for their rights in federal Bankruptcy Courts and advising them on achieving a fresh economic start post-bankruptcy. I was a "military brat" and moved with my family to Sacramento in 1970. Having grown up in the Sacramento area, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from California State University, Sacramento, and obtained my Law Degree from Lincoln Law School in Sacramento in 1994. I have held the position of past president of the Sacramento Valley Bankruptcy Forum, a key organization that provides continuing education for Northern California Bankruptcy Lawyers. I also served as a Co-Chair on the State Bar of California, Business Law Section, Insolvency Law Committee, and was a member of the Attorney Advisory Board for ARAG Insurance Services. I am also a current member of the Kennedy Inn of Court. Currently, I am studying French and enjoy indulging in music, art, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I have a deep love for animals and actively support SPCA events.
