Murray Bristol

Murray L. Bristol graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in finance and entrepreneurship, where he was named to the Dean’s List. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1993, serving as a contributing member of the Energy Law Journal, a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, and being named to the Dean’s Honor Roll. Mr. Bristol also pursued additional legal studies at SMU Dedman School of Law and the University of Oxford in England. Following law school, Mr. Bristol served as an Assistant District Attorney in El Paso, Texas, trying over 40 cases to verdict. He then entered private practice with firms having offices in Dallas and Oklahoma. With more than 32 years of extensive trial experience, he has tried over 150 cases to verdict and litigated hundreds of civil lawsuits. Mr. Bristol is a seasoned trial attorney specializing in business and commercial litigation, creditors' rights, and commercial debt collection. He has successfully represented companies and individuals throughout Oklahoma and Texas in recovering unpaid debts, resolving oil and gas disputes, addressing general breach of contract claims, handling misrepresentation and fraud matters, and pursuing effective post-judgment collections and enforcement actions. As a former prosecutor with deep courtroom insight, Mr. Bristol understands the strategies required to achieve optimal results—whether through aggressive negotiation, mediation, or trial litigation when necessary. His background in finance and entrepreneurship, combined with decades of hands-on experience, enables him to provide practical, efficient solutions for businesses facing unfulfilled agreements, delinquent accounts, or commercial disputes. Mr. Bristol has been a member of the Texas State Bar since 1993, the Oklahoma Bar since 1995, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas, all Federal courts in OK.
