I didn’t pursue a legal career to serve the powerful; I chose this path to stand up for the people. As the founding attorney of The Law Office of Kerry M. Tibor, PLLC, my mission has always been clear: to ensure that the "Average American" has a strong defense against corporate overreach. My practice focuses on consumer rights, debt defense, and shielding individuals from unfair creditor and collection practices. I’m licensed to practice law in the State of Florida, where I represent clients facing debt disputes, lawsuits, and credit reporting issues. I earned my Juris Doctor from the Florida International University (FIU) College of Law, an institution known for producing capable, trial-ready advocates. After being admitted to the Florida Bar, I didn’t limit myself to the state courts. I’ve gained extensive litigation experience and am admitted to practice in: - The U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida - The U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida - The U.S. District Court, Northern District of Florida This broad reach allows me to hold debt collectors and credit bureaus accountable no matter where they operate in Florida. My approach is guided by what I call the "Informed Guardian" philosophy. I combine a deep understanding of the FDCPA, FCCPA, and FCRA with a straightforward, down-to-earth style of communication.
