Jean-Luc Adrien

I’m Jean-Luc Adrien, a criminal trial attorney at The Brancato Law Firm, P.A., located in Tampa, Florida. My practice focuses on defending clients in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco Counties against a range of criminal charges, including DUI, drug offenses, domestic violence, sex crimes, and homicide. Before joining the firm, I served as Division Chief at the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office, where I led a team of over 20 trial attorneys across seven criminal divisions. I graduated from New York University School of Law as a Root-Tilden-Kern Scholar, a full-tuition scholarship awarded for a demonstrated commitment to public service. I’m admitted to practice law in both Florida and New York and have dedicated my entire legal career to defense work. I also represent clients in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and French—a skillset that is rare among criminal defense attorneys in the Tampa Bay area. I approach every case with dedication and care. My preparation involves thorough fact development, building meaningful relationships with witnesses, and giving close attention to the unique circumstances of each client. These efforts help me develop stronger defense strategies and achieve better outcomes.
