About

I founded The Bowin Law Group to help individuals and families across Central Florida tackle overwhelming debt and put an end to creditor harassment. My firm, based in Brevard County, Florida, is dedicated to providing the level of advocacy that everyday families and small business owners deserve but often struggle to access. Growing up in Brevard County, I began my education at Brevard Community College, where I earned my associate’s degree. I then went on to Florida State University, receiving a B.S. in Political Science, before attending the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. I graduated with honors in 2002 and started my legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of Florida, West Palm Beach Division. After completing my clerkship, I represented major Fortune 500 corporations across the country. One highlight of my career was serving as debtor counsel for Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. during its multibillion-dollar Chapter 11 reorganization from 2005 to 2009. During this time, I also had the privilege of being recognized by my peers as a "Rising Star" in Super Lawyers Magazine in 2010, 2011, and 2013. Over the years, I’ve worked with corporate clients like Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc., Wachovia Bank, Citigroup, Household Finance Corporation, Florida Power & Light, and General Electric Capital Corporation, among others. These experiences showed me the disparity between the resources available to large corporations and those accessible to families or small businesses. I started The Bowin Law Group to close that gap and give Space Coast residents and small businesses access to the same level of dedicated legal advocacy typically reserved for large, well-funded organizations. Whether you’re a homeowner fighting foreclosure, a family considering bankruptcy, or a small business seeking resolution to a conflict, I’m committed to providing clear guidance and, when necessary, tireless advocacy to protect your rights.
