Bonnie Berns

Bonnie Berns is a highly experienced family law, personal injury, and employment law attorney in Ormond Beach. She has over 30 years of experience across a wide range of legal areas. Attorney Berns is well-equipped to guide you through many of life’s most significant legal challenges. Bonnie Berns is a native New Yorker. She graduated from New York University cum laude (with honors) and as a Phi Beta Kappa member. After graduation, she moved to Washington D.C. where she attended Antioch School of Law. In D.C. she worked for consumer rights while in law school representing 40,000 families across the United States. Upon graduation from law school, Attorney Berns moved to Naples, Italy where she did Court Martials on the Naval Support Activity based there, representing military personnel. Then, she moved to Florida where she worked for Central Florida Legal Services in the Senior Citizen Unit and representing seniors and indigent clients. In 1985, Attorney Berns opened up her private practice in Palm Coast. In 1996, Attorney Berns moved to the Tampa Bay area where she did personal injury law representing individuals who were injured due to an accident. She handled slip and falls, as well as auto, truck, and motorcycle accidents. She also practiced in the employment law area representing employees who were deprived of their civil rights and employee benefits. In 2007, Attorney Berns moved back to the Volusia County area and opened her practice in Ormond Beach where she continues to represent individuals who have family law problems, who are victims of accidents, and employees who are discriminated against or are otherwise deprived of their rights and benefits. She practices in the Florida state courts as well as the United States District Court- Middle District. She always provides individual service and attention to each client.
