About
Nicole Blank Becker is the founding attorney of Blank Law, PC. A Wayne State University J.D., she is a Michigan criminal defense lawyer with 25 years of experience focused almost exclusively on Criminal Sexual Conduct and CSAM allegations and related internet-based sex offenses. Before founding her firm, Nicole served in the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office as Chief of the Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Units, giving her an insider’s view of how the state investigates, charges, and litigates these cases. Her practice includes pre-charge representation, bond and arraignment strategy, suppression and evidentiary challenges, expert-driven case development, and trial. Because many matters are heavy in digital forensics, she works with specialists in devices, cloud data, communications, and interview reliability. She presses early for discovery that can expose contamination, bias, or gaps in the timeline. Clients work directly with Nicole and receive a clear day-one plan on what to say, what not to say, and how the defense will be built long before a jury is seated. Nicole has been part of the defense in nationally watched sex-crimes prosecutions, including serving on R. Kelly’s federal defense team. In Michigan, she has represented public-facing professionals in cases that draw intense coverage, addressing both courtroom strategy and reputational risk. Admissions include Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. She is also a Certified Forensic Interviewer. Ratings include Justia 10/10, Avvo “Superb” 9.8, 60+ Google 5-star reviews with a 4.9 overall rating, and additional 5-star client reviews. She is frequently asked to provide on-air and quoted analysis (including in 2025) for outlets such as BBC, The Guardian, NPR, Fox News, FOX Business, CBS New York, etc.
