Kris R. Parker

I joined the Florida Bar in 2008 and began my legal career as an Assistant State Attorney with Florida's Sixth Judicial Circuit in the Clearwater/Saint Petersburg area. During my time as a state prosecutor, I handled 42 jury trials, argued hundreds of evidentiary motions, and worked on several appeals. My caseload included a range of felony and misdemeanor matters, such as DUI, domestic violence, sex crimes, fraud, drug possession, and drug trafficking. In 2012, I moved to Washington, DC, where I served as corporate counsel for a large Information Technology firm. However, in 2015, I returned to Florida and established my own boutique legal practice, focusing on criminal defense, personal injury, and family law. Two years later, in 2017, I partnered with Don Hendry to co-found Hendry Parker, PA, where we continued to practice in those same areas. In 2024, I transitioned to Bernhardt Riley in Palm Harbor, Florida, as a criminal defense attorney. As the leader of the firm's criminal division, I oversee all criminal litigation and handle a wide variety of misdemeanor and criminal cases.
