James A. Beckstrom

James Beckstrom represents companies and individuals in litigation matters throughout Nevada and California. His wide-ranging practice includes real estate litigation, title litigation, complex business litigation, trade secret litigation, catastrophic personal injury litigation, and insurance bad faith. He has experience in all aspects of litigation in both state and federal courts from pre-litigation to verdict, as well as securing victories on appeal. Mr. Beckstrom has previously been retained by insurance carriers, publicly traded companies, municipalities, hospitals, and financial institutions for a wide range of litigation matters. Mr. Beckstrom serves as in house counsel and contract counsel to various businesses and law firms in both California and Nevada and is routinely called on for straightforward, no nonsense representation. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Beckstrom owned and managed a foreclosure company specializing in residential and commercial foreclosures that serviced various financial institutions across the United States. In doing so, Mr. Beckstrom developed extensive knowledge in areas of creditor rights, enforcement, and collection. Mr. Beckstrom clerked for the Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County, Nevada where he oversaw a split docket of both civil and criminal matters.
