Barry J. Simon

After graduating from Loyola Law School, in Los Angeles and J.D. in 1978, I worked for two insurance defense firms. I discovered insurance companies don't care about people, only about making money. This realization prompted me to "switch sides" and become a personal injury lawyer representing victims and consumers. Given my background I have a keen understanding of insurance companies delay and over-reaching tactics. It gives me great satisfaction to successfully protect anyone who is taken advantage of by an insurance company, corporation or public entity. I believe in diligence and fairness when it comes to persuing the rights of those injured through no fault of their own. I have been a volunteer Settlement Officer and Arbitrator for the Superior Courts in Los Angeles helping to facilitate the resolution of cases. I only take cases I believe in and keep a small caseload so my clients are given the personal attention they deserve. I enjoy surfing, golf, basketball, bowling, writing poetry, outdoors, the ocean and interacting with people.
