Carl Adam Barrington III

Throughout my life, I’ve always been driven by a deep care for people and a desire to assist those in need whenever possible. After graduating from college, I began my career in vocational ministry before transitioning to non-profit management, where I worked with the homeless population in Charlotte, NC. However, becoming a lawyer felt like coming home, as it allowed me to combine two things I’m deeply passionate about: helping others and the law. I started my legal career in my hometown of Fayetteville, NC, at Armstrong & Barrington PLLC. Growing up, my family and I spent time at Topsail Beach, a tradition I carried into adulthood. During the COVID-19 pandemic, my family and I spent significant time on Topsail Island, where I was able to maintain my Fayetteville law practice through remote work and occasional travel. This experience inspired me to establish Barrington Law in Hampstead, NC, where I could extend my services to a new community, guiding them through some of life’s most challenging moments. Now, I call Topsail Beach home and am proud to be a resident of Pender County. My two children attend Surf City Elementary and Surf City Middle Schools, and we feel fortunate to be part of this wonderful community.
