About
Ryan Bailey focuses on civil litigation and serious personal injury cases. Mr. Bailey recently returned to the firm after serving as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Schenectady. During his tenure with the City of Schenectady, Mr. Bailey counseled the Corporation Counsel, department heads, and the City Council on a variety of different civil matters including personal injury, breach of contract, tax assessments, and environmental law. On behalf of the City, Mr. Bailey prepared contracts, drafted ordinances, and conducted settlement negotiations. Mr. Bailey’s connection to the City of Schenectady continues as he was recently appointed to serve as a Board Member on the City’s Planning Commission. Mr. Bailey has counseled individuals, insurance companies, contractors, licensed professionals, and municipalities. He has tried cases in the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, and prepared briefs for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit as well as the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division. Mr. Bailey represents people who have been seriously injured in car accidents. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of New York State’s No-Fault Law. Mr. Bailey is an active participant in community and charitable events. He served in Americorps for one year and was awarded the Presidential and Congressional Volunteer Service Award recipient and was recognized by the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York for his dedication to providing professional services to those in need.
