William Oliver Bacharach

William Bacharach is a Denver criminal defense attorney and the founder of Bacharach Law, representing clients facing DUI, domestic violence, assault, drug, and serious felony charges throughout Colorado's Front Range. He is also a VA-accredited attorney who represents veterans in disability appeals and advises service members on the collateral consequences of criminal convictions on VA benefits. Mr. Bacharach began his career as a Deputy State Public Defender in Jefferson County — one of the busiest criminal dockets in Colorado — where he handled a full caseload and tried over 20 cases to verdict. His trial practice is complemented by substantial appellate experience gained as a Criminal Appeals Intern with the Colorado Attorney General's Office, where he drafted answer briefs in cases involving first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, and other serious felonies. He later joined Sharuzi Law Group, supporting complex civil litigation, federal practice, and Section 1983 matters. Before entering law, Mr. Bacharach served two years in the United States Peace Corps in Guinea, taught middle school in a Title I community, and earned a Master of Arts in Human Rights and Transitional Justice from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and holds a B.A. in History from Furman University. He is admitted in Colorado (Bar No. 59714) and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and is VA-accredited (No. 60893). Mr. Bacharach is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
