Ty’Queese Keyes

I am a trial attorney dedicated solely to representing employees in workplace disputes. Since the start of my legal career, I have been committed to helping individuals navigate some of the most challenging moments in their working lives—those times when their livelihood, dignity, or reputation is on the line. When employees come to me, they often feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or unsure about their rights. I firmly believe that no one should have to endure discrimination, retaliation, wage theft, or wrongful termination simply because their employer holds more power. This belief fuels my dedication to plaintiff-side employment law and my mission to hold employers accountable when they break the law. Standing up to powerful employers and navigating complex legal systems can be daunting and risky for employees, but I strive to level the playing field. I focus on providing strategic, compassionate, and results-oriented representation to individuals who have faced workplace discrimination. I handle each case with great care, ensuring I fully understand my client’s story, clearly explain their legal options, and craft a strategy aimed at achieving meaningful outcomes—whether through negotiation or litigation. Above all, I am dedicated to ensuring that employees are heard, protected, and treated fairly under the law. Before joining the firm, I lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where I earned my Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law. During my time there, I served as President of the Black Law Students Association and worked as an ACLU student liaison for ACLU-NM. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Psychology from Louisiana State University. Additionally, I am a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and remain active in community service outside of my legal practice. I am currently licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
