Jackie Allen Mastantuno

I was born and raised in Charleston, SC, and have devoted my career to serving this community. After earning my B.A. from the College of Charleston in 2003, I completed my J.D. at the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2007. After law school, I clerked for the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Charleston, where I gained valuable experience working within the Federal criminal system. Between 2008 and 2010, I served as a prosecutor for South Carolina’s Ninth Judicial Circuit, which encompasses Charleston and Berkeley Counties. During that time, I was the lead DUI prosecutor in Berkeley County, handling more than 100 DUI cases, ranging from first offenses to felony DUIs involving fatalities. I spent significant time in the courtroom, taking on complex cases such as Armed Robbery and Burglary, while also contributing to the prosecution of other cases, including Murder and traffic violations. Since 2010, I have focused my practice on defending the rights of individuals. I have successfully represented clients facing serious criminal charges, including Murder, Attempted Murder, Armed Robbery, Arson, Criminal Sexual Conduct, Burglary, Felony DUI, drug-related offenses, and financial crimes. My firm, Mastantuno Law Firm, LLC, is committed to offering guidance and defense for those charged with a crime. Alongside criminal defense, I also represent clients who have suffered serious injuries. Whether the injury resulted from a car, motorcycle, boat, or other vehicular accident, I work to help clients understand their legal options and pursue the justice they deserve.
