About
I grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and attended the University of Virginia, where I had the opportunity to study abroad one summer learning French in Lyon, France. After graduating, I decided to pursue a career in the legal field and spent about two years working as a legal assistant in family law. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for helping families, which motivated me to continue my education at William & Mary Law School. While in law school, I gained valuable experience by interning at a family law firm, performing pro bono work as an extern at the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia, and working as a research assistant for my school’s family law professor. I was also deeply involved in the Bill of Rights Journal, serving as both an associate editor and a senior articles editor. My student note on constitutional law was published in the journal, which was a significant milestone for me. Additionally, through my role on the Student Environmental & Animal Law Society board, I organized a charity event—kitten yoga—at the local animal shelter, combining my love for animals with community service. In my free time, I enjoy running and have set a personal goal to complete a half marathon in every state. I also love playing pickleball and tennis, reading, and going on outdoor adventures with my two rescue dogs and my fiancé, Eric.
