I help investors, family offices, and business owners with the acquisition, operation, disposition, financing and leasing of commercial real estate. I work with various property types all over California, including retail, industrial, office, multi-family, and hotel. Frequently requested legal services include: •Reviewing and editing commercial real estate purchase and sale agreements, •Reviewing and editing commercial real estate leases, and •Performing legal due diligence with respect to commercial property acquisitions, including title and survey review. Recent Transactions Purchase and Sale: • Successfully represented a family-owned real estate company in the purchase of both a $151 million and a $145 million luxury multi-family complex within one month of each other in 2023. • Facilitated strategic acquisitions of triple net leased properties for a recently retired couple transitioning from multifamily property ownership to retail properties. Lease Transactions: • Provide ongoing shopping center landlord representation, including the preparation of leases and related documents, for shopping centers across diverse states, including California, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, Ohio, and Texas. • Reviewed a proposed commercial real estate lease agreement on behalf of a local coffee shop chain seeking to expand its operations.
