Angel M. Traub

Angel M. Traub is a civil litigation attorney & principal owner of A. Traub & Assoc.. She graduated in 98 from NIU with her B.A. & was awarded the Outstanding Woman Student Award & Outstanding Communication Major Award in 98. Angel graduated from The John Marshall Law School with a J.D. In 01 where She was selected as a John Marshall Distinguished Scholar & was a member of the Order of John Marshall, Honorary Scholarship Society. She was admitted to practice in the State of Illinois & the Northern District of Illinois in 2001. Angel is trained & certified in Divorce & Custody Mediation & Family Collaborative Law. She has attended & presented at several CLE seminars in the areas of estate planning, probate, estate administration, contested estates, GAL training, guardianship, family law, divorce, & contested child custody. She participated in advanced masters courses in Child Representation, Negotiation, Mediation, & Trial Advocacy. Angel practices in many areas of Civil Litigation, primarily Family Law, Estate Administration & Guardianship. She is qualified as a Guardian ad litem for disabled children & adult guardianships. During 07-08 Angel was President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers & an active member of the DCBA. She served on the Board of Directors from 2007 - 2012, and as Chair for the Judge's Night Committee; Family Law Committee, Co-Chair & Membership Committee. She was a member of the Judiciary, Diversity, Membership, Entertainment, & Lawyer Referral Services Committees. As a member of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, Angel served on the Suburban Bar Coalition Judiciary Committee, and a recipient of the DCBA Board of Director's Award & the DuPage Legal Assistance Foundation Pro Bono Service Award.
