After many years of working as a prosecutor, I realized my strengths and desires were more in line with defending people’s rights than with prosecuting defendants. I earnestly wanted to help defend those rights guaranteed by the Constitution. I understand that most people who have been charged with a crime are not bad people; they have just found themselves in a bad situation.
