Alexander Boris

I'm a Senior Trial Attorney at J&Y Law in Los Angeles, CA. My work focuses on cases involving wrongful death, catastrophic injury, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability. My career began on the defense side at a nationally recognized top 100 firm, where I dealt with catastrophic injury cases. During that time, I saw firsthand how big insurance companies often took advantage of people. Understanding the strategies used by these companies has equipped me to effectively challenge them on behalf of my clients. Over the years, I have successfully negotiated settlements totaling millions of dollars for those I represent. I've been honored to be named to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2020 through 2023 and the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40. I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Yeshiva University in New York. My legal education was completed at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law. I am admitted to practice law in both California and Nevada. I'm a proud member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Los Angeles Bar Association. Outside of the courtroom, I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking with my family and my dog.
