About
I have practiced exclusively in U.S. immigration law since 2006. My practice focuses on employment-based immigration — EB-1A extraordinary ability petitions, EB-2 National Interest Waivers, EB-1B outstanding researcher petitions, EB-1C multinational manager and executive petitions, PERM labor certifications, EB-3 skilled worker petitions, O-1, H-1B, L-1, E-2, and TN nonimmigrant filings. I also handle family-based immigration, naturalization, and citizenship matters. I prepare every petition, brief, and RFE response personally. More than 1,000 approvals since 2006. I publish my denial record on my website, year by year. I know of no other immigration attorney who does this. I do it because the denial record is the only honest measure of an attorney's performance — and because a client evaluating attorneys deserves to see it. I serve as of-counsel to immigration attorneys and law firms on difficult cases nationwide. That work has given me close familiarity with how cases fail — the assumptions that seemed reasonable at the start, the moments where a different decision would have changed the outcome. When I take a case, I own the argument from the first page to the last. I have reversed denials on motions to reconsider in every major employment-based category and challenged USCIS decisions in federal court. If you are evaluating immigration attorneys, ask these questions: Who writes the briefs? What is the denial record? What happened the last time a petition was denied? An attorney who answers clearly and without hesitation is a different practitioner than one who cannot. albrechtimmigration.com
