Aisha Nanyanzi

I am Aisha Nanyanzi, the principal attorney at AKN Law Firm, dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate both U.S. immigration law and financial hardship through compassionate, strategic legal representation. As an immigrant myself, I understand the uncertainty and challenges that come with navigating complex legal systems, which fuels my passion for advocacy and client-centered service. Originally from Uganda, I immigrated to the U.S. in my mid-twenties and experienced firsthand the transformative impact of having a skilled attorney during difficult times. Inspired by my own journey, I worked as a paralegal for nearly a decade before earning my law degree and becoming an attorney. Today, I use my personal experience, legal expertise, and deep understanding of the law to assist clients with immigration matters including asylum, green cards, naturalization, and humanitarian relief, as well as bankruptcy services that help individuals regain financial stability and a fresh start.
