Heather A. Tovar

I bring two decades of legal experience to Adina T. Stern, APLC. I earned my Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from Tulane University. As a proud member of the Celtic Bar Association of Orange County, my diverse educational and professional background allows me to contribute a unique perspective to the team. My practice focuses on business law, real property litigation, and employment law. Over the years, I have also expanded my work to include equine law, unlawful detainer actions, construction defect cases, and general civil litigation. I am deeply committed to advocating for my clients and continuously building on my legal knowledge. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable insights from working with boutique law firms and engaging in specialized contract work. This experience has equipped me to handle complex legal challenges effectively. I am familiar with navigating business and real property litigation and have managed high-stakes legal matters with efficiency and care. Before entering the legal field, I pursued a variety of professional roles that have shaped my approach to problem-solving and client advocacy. I worked as a counselor in a psychiatric hospital, a sound engineer, and even a road crew member for a ska band. These unique experiences have given me a distinctive perspective that informs my work today. At Adina T. Stern, APLC, I serve as a remote contract attorney, drawing on my extensive background to deliver thoughtful legal counsel and creative solutions.
