Adam Demetri

Adam Demetri, Esq. concentrates his practice in representing clients who suffer significant personal injuries arising from medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, pharmacy error, products liability and other wrongful acts. Adam is an advocate on behalf of individuals seeking to enforce their legal rights against large institutions such as hospitals and Fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Demetri is a member of numerous state and local bar association committees involving all aspects of litigation. He routinely handles significant personal injury cases from intake through trial, including cases involving brain damage, cancer, surgical error, and obstetrical injuries. Mr. Demetri also specializes in real estate transactions and litigation, commercial and civil litigation involving business disputes and contract related matters, and provides general advice to closely held corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships.??Adam obtained his undergraduate degree in 1988 from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He was awarded the Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1991 “with distinction” and served as an editor on the well-known Hofstra Law Review. Immediately after graduating Hofstra Law School, Adam began his legal career as a litigation associate at the prestigious law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he concentrated in defending major Fortune 500 companies in class action lawsuits involving products liability, securities violations and shareholder lawsuits.??Mr. Demetri is a member of the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyer’s Association, The American Association for Justice, Nassau County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in New York State and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts.??Outside the practice of law, Mr. Demetri enjoys golfing and spending quality time with his wife and two children.
