Ayalah Jesselson

Ms. Jesselson is a founding member of Abraham & Jesselson Law Group, LLC. She is experienced in all matters of matrimonial and family law proceedings, including contested and uncontested divorces, custody and visitation proceedings, child support and family offense proceedings, obtaining and opposing requests for financial support and issues of equitable distribution. She routinely appears in court to orally argue motions and hearings. She is well-versed in negotiating and settling matrimonial matters. If a resolution is not possible, she zealously represents and protects her clients’ rights and interests in hearings and trials. Ms. Jesselson is experienced in all phases of pre-trial litigation including the preparation of Statements of Net Worth, discovery demands and responses, motions for interim relief, taking and defending depositions, and settlement conferences. She is a certified arbitrator in matrimonial legal fee dispute cases and a certified mediator. Ms. Jesselson was chosen as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018. She received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2005 and a B.A. in both Sociology and Media Studies from Queens College in 2002. She is admitted to: State bars of New York and New Jersey, U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Her professional associations are: New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association and the Nassau County Women's Bar Association.
