Adriana Cross

Adriana C. Cross is a compassionate and experienced family law, estate planning, and bankruptcy attorney licensed in both Illinois and Missouri. She is the founder of A Cross Law Firm, PLLC, a full-service law firm proudly serving individuals and families across St. Louis City and County (MO), St. Clair and Madison Counties (IL), and the greater Chicago area. Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Adriana has been committed to helping clients in Illinois for over six years, bringing empathy, strategy, and clear communication to every case. With her recent admission to the Missouri Bar, she now extends her legal services across the Mississippi River—particularly in family law matters. Ms. Cross personally handles every case that comes into the firm, ensuring that clients receive individualized attention and thoughtful advocacy. Her areas of practice include family law (divorce, custody, guardianship, and DCFS defense), estate planning, and bankruptcy for Illinois clients only. She is particularly skilled at integrating these areas to provide clients with comprehensive legal solutions during difficult transitions. Adriana is admitted to practice in the Northern District of Illinois Bankruptcy Court (since 2019) and the Southern District of Illinois Bankruptcy Court (since 2024). She is not currently licensed to handle bankruptcy matters in Missouri. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Saint Louis University in 2006, her MBA in 2009, and her J.D. in 2012. Her commitment to service began in 2002 through volunteer work with abused children and the elderly. In 2012, she joined AmeriCorps at the Richard J. Daley Center, helping self-represented litigants navigate divorce and training law students in legal compliance.
