Avinoam Cohen

While in Law School, Avi was an editor of the school’s Law Review. Avi’s early legal experience includes clerking for a Judge in the Supreme Court, Queens County. Upon his graduation from law school, Avi worked for a solo practitioner in Nassau County where he was responsible for managing, filing and litigating dozens of personal injury, divorce, and litigation cases. Subsequently Avi worked for a powerhouse boutique litigation firm, Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman, where he focused on complex “high stakes” commercial litigation and matrimonial law. He has handled numerous six and seven figure cases to successful resolution or verdict. Mr. Cohen works expeditiously, but efficiently. He cares about each of his clients and is focused on every case, no matter how big or small. Avi maintains a high attorney rating on Avvo. He is licensed to practice in all state courts within New York, as well as the Southern and Eastern Federal District Courts of New York. Avi is a lifelong resident of Woodmere and many of his clientele are from the 5 towns area including Lawrence, Woodmere, Cedarhurst, and Hewlett.
